"Gracious lodging since 1928"
About The Madison
For over 80 years The Madison, named after James Madison, our 4th president and father of the American Constitution, has provided gracious lodging to its guests. The Madison is completing its period-restoration which places it prominently among other “grand old hotels” which were constructed in the early 1900’s.
The Madison provides assisted living support to provide our guests with personal health care and wellness programs as they enjoy a quality lifestyle. Once called the “Grand Dame” of Orange County, The Madison is listed on the Virginia Landmark Registry and the National Register of Historic Places.
The period-restoration of The Madison and its quality health care and wellness programs provide an exceptional assisted living environment in a historical, exciting, and appealing setting. Central to our guests’ quality lifestyle is the special individualized care plans. These plans are constructed and developed for our guests with input from the guests’ families, our activities director, our pharmacy director, our nursing staff and our certified dietary manager (CDM).
We accept medicaid Auxiliary/Grant residents.
